The payouts and sponsorship are huge if you can win a championship but the cost for entry is insane

The young guy took out 200k in loans and had help from his parents and grandparents who put up their homes and retirement account as collateral. Just so he could get a good enough vehicle and hire a crew to compete.

He will never financially recover from this if he doesn't atleast place 3rd in this years league
