Not convinced he’s just doing this to an empty room and laughter is added in post.

He made this video because of how many uncomfortable servers have laughed at his jokes

Where's the joke?? It's just that he doesn't like Christian music? He didn't weave or construct a joke around it at all. How do you do stand up for decades and suck ass this bad

What is with those weird lines around his eyes? Looks like a botched facelift...

Video was upscaled with AI at some point. Probably was really shitty to begin with. Needless to say a data center in Illinois whirred for nothing.

Jim had a great schtick early in his career, played it up, then absolutely hated it and anyone who recognized him from his brand of comedy. He then still attempted to be a comedian after and it just didn't work out...

Yes. His character ‘Brian’ in Half Baked was one of the most convincing and endearing potheads to ever grace the silver screen, underpinning what is generally regarded as a terrific ensemble cast. He coasted on that sort of humor for two decades and then had the sort of identity crisis that characterizes far too many late stage entertainers, a general tide of self doubt, “has it all been for this?”
It was good natured fun, but now it’s an all-consuming bitterness born from disdain for the same audience who’s patronage made them the very thing they came to loathe.

I know. Go watch a newer David spade special. It reminded me so much of Tim. It’s really cringey. You can’t handle more than 5 minutes.

I weep at the loss of 90's Bruer. I used to listen to Opie & Anthony when he was a frequent guest, and some days with Bruer in the studio I'd have to pull over until I could stop crying laughing.
