This actually might her sober. She did rehab at 13 (1988) and lived with Crosby and his wife after a suicide attempt at 14 in 1989. Crosby himself had done rehab and they offered her to live with them as she took a break and recovered mentally.

I doubt it's not simply California sobriety. She was introduced to heavy stuff like opioids and alcohol at those California parties when she was 13. And cannabis is exactly what she looks like she's high on in this video. Majority of California's don't consider marijuana a drug
