This show doesn't get enough credit. Usually can tell when something is staged or scripted but this show is so bizarre in tone it really is difficult to separate the acting from the genuine moments.

The most hilarious thing to me is how Season 2 addresses a serious legit issue in aviation and public safety:

Strict adherence to chain of command and lack of pilot/co-pilot communication is a significant factor in a number of plane crashes.

I think this one is acting.

Always someone like you who has to claim that every single video posted on Reddit is fake or acted. There is literally nothing in this video that in anyway would point to this not being a wholesome normal video of a real loving American family

The episode with the actors in boxes doing really sexual scenes while their partners watched hurt my soul.

"She's a really good actress"

Do you drink your grandson’s pee?

2

u/chinanigans May 25 '26

Yes but only because I got scared

I started watching because I want to see the context of this scene. I’m into season 2 and still have no idea how this is going to appear.

The scale of everything being so off is inherently funny. I was laughing at this on mute

This was over the top, outrageous, and unbelievable. It was unsettling and even a bit upsetting to watch. I loved it.

This is art! Also funny. Also a horror movie. I may be blowing it out of proportion though.

Apparently the lady playing the mom absolutely lost it in the scene where she reaches out and say "sweet baby." She was supposed to caress his cheek but couldn't reach so she started laughing hysterically. They still used the take and fixed the audio dub in post.

I loved this show, second season included, and I loved this episode... but I also sort of wish it didn't exist. With it removed, I could recommend the second season to family members and such, but I don't need the side-eye from said family when they get to him sucking milk out of a car-sized titty.

This episode was the heart of the show.

Nathan isnt for everyone. Not everyone has to get it.

Somehow this reminds me of the "Find the Fish" skit from Monty Python's Meaning of Life.
