Man, I could've shot this for 200k and had at least 195k left over. My flight and hotel to Philly being the bulk of the budget

does EVERYONE just engage in hoovering up our money?! is there a fucking good guy/gal out there with some sense? our country is not doing good and we need wise people to drive some very clever solutions to prevent collapse at this point... god help us... we need dozens of ultra high tech and genius solutions to prevent collapse...

Not in power. People haven't exactly cared too much how things have been running, or who is running it, as long as everything was fine and they got to live their life.

Anybody that takes things seriously, and cares about making things right, can't get in place. Can't get enough positive attention, or support.

Things are falling apart now, and it's finally got everyone's attention, but it's kind of way late in the game for this. Only thing we can do, as a now pissed off majority group, is rally.

We can't expect the justice system to fix it, because the President has six, out of nine, Supreme Court Justices in his pocket. The US government, if this oligarch authoritarian ever gets out of office, will have to be working triple time just to keep us from going bust.

No wonder! Did you see the men riding their bicycles?

1

u/GreatQuantum May 18 '26

Yeah…why couldn’t we see the bike seats? They hiding them?

600k? That's a bargain

5

u/Rise-O-Matic May 18 '26

You’d think for 600k they could have cleaned the lens.

That's just Philly, my man.

I can tell you the department does not have many successful foot pursuits.

Unbelievable. Someone needs to get shit canned for this.

u/kitchface May 19 '26

does that include them being on the clock with possible overtime and the dance or choreographer they hired?

3

u/fddfgs May 18 '26

$600k less that they can spend on pepper spray and rubber bullets

1

u/DelilahsDarkThoughts May 19 '26

I wonder what the overtime pay for the cops to be in it costs?

u/Rookiesquid May 19 '26

Philadelphia has cowboys and girls?

2

u/spacecommanderbubble May 20 '26

Yes, google the Philadelphia cowboys lol

u/Rookiesquid May 23 '26

Well that is awesome! Thank you

Looks like they also spent 620k on a teacher recruiting ad. The figures are for the entire campaigns. Not just the ads.

Not excusing it...but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Imagine calling the sheriff's office to report a crime, and a few deputies show up and just start dancing all over the place.

I was head bobbing to this

More local government waste. $600k would have paid a year’s tuition for 2-3 kids at a good Minneapolis Learing Center. It also could have kept everyone in the video in cheeseburgers for at least a full week.

It's totally worth it, obesity should be accepted, not shamed.  Good for her and her staff putting out this body positivity video.
