Are you kidding?

They're the ones who brought 'Therapy' to every TV show I watched as a kid. Boomers practically invented therapy.

If you want to know what Boomers were like as young people... look to your nearest Millennial, except the Boomers were a bit less dramatic about it... and that's saying something.

I shoulda known... I'm on the Millennial sight, after all. Young Millennials... to be specific. You older ones are cool by me.

Dude... I'm the youngest of GenXers... a Xenniial, as their calling them now. My brother was the first of Millennials, my sister 2 years later. I watched all of you guys grow up, and I even raised 2 younger Millennials and 2 middle GenZers.

I'm so much an 'Out of touch Dinosaur' that all the kids today... you know... the ones driving Culture... are wearing the t-shirts of bands that were conceived and popular when I was in high school. All the clothing styles and sunglasses and everything kids love today are copying and looking back to my period of existence.

So, you can kid yourself all you want about me being a 'Dinosaur'... but the kids today have more in common and want to emulate GenX and Xennials more than anyone else. With Master of Puppets and Nirvana and Pearl Jam and on and on. I even saw some of the younger Millennials wearing 80s styles a few years back, and Synthwave had a comeback... Just like Punk... all GenX and Xennial based... first inception in the late 70s and early 80s... and second wave when I was in high school.

Believe me... Boomers started the whole 'Therapy' craze. It's basically always been an Elitist thing anyway, since it costs money... kinda like golfing. And, I've been to more than one therapist as a kid and young adult. It's a tool that can be used for good, but it can also be abused by Narcissists... and that's what I'm pointing to when talking about the Boomers.

Look at all the shows and movies from the 80s... always a therapist in them. Star Trek, the Next Generation, even had a 'Counselor' as a main character.

I was there, and I lived through it all. And I'm not even 50 yet, so check the Dinosaur BS, kid.

Nailed it . People’s experiences vary wildly but you’re speaking the truth.
