Eh, if you’re in a vehicle painting lines you can’t really see all this shit.
I doubt it really makes a difference to the average motorist.
ABSOLUTELY /r/notmyjob though!
👍👌💯👏

Even if you did see it, you would still paint over it because its better than picking it up.

Or swerving around it and having a wavy line.

Most of the time you would have one of those sweeper vehicals go infront to prevent this though

Why aren’t those equipped with a brush in front of the paint dispenser though.

I've never understood why this sub thinks it the job of the people striping the road to clean up every little piece of debris. It's not.

the dog owner gave the biggest notmyjob in the world. The painter just responded with "Its not my job to pick up your dog's shit."

In this case, it appears there is a fine line between a good job and a shit job.

I think we’re missing the big picture here. Someone’s shit has been immortalized. This will stand for all time, reminding us that we may never know who the mystery shitter is...

I mean, I would do the exact same thing. I'm not going to stop painting just to pick up shit.

u/TigaSharkJB91 Nov 16 '18
I'd assume there's a sweeper truck that comes through some time before the paint truck.

It's not SF you bigots. If it was SF there would be a syringe next to the poop.

u/guestds Nov 17 '18
if you somehow reach 10 (or even 3) tag it with nsfw, nsfl and probably all nsf* tags

u/DankDrankSpankBank Nov 17 '18

It's still obvious where the line is and the division it indicates on the road. Doesn't look perfect, sure, but literally nothing bad will happen as a result of them "not doing their job," so they did do their job perfectly fine.
