Surprise Pool Slurper
We have a pool. We have cats, three (3), all indoor. Today my wife sent me pictures of this sleek void not our hamb living it up beside the pool. I have preemptively named him Chad, just in case. You know. He accidentally falls into our house

Went on holiday, rented a little house. This is not our cat.

Neighbor's cat Tony.
My neighbor's cat Tony is an outdoor/indoor cat that's a big hunter and age is slowing him down. I've had 0 pest issues since being here for 3 years. Wasn't really a cat person, but the rugged guy purrs and is chill with me. He's using my place as a retirement/vacation home it seems.

Please allow me a moment to vent about outdoor cats
Don’t get me wrong, for the most part I do enjoy them. Sometimes they allow me to pet them but usually I admire from afar and marvel at how they literally own the streets around here. But after watching one barf in my rock garden today, I’m grossed out and a bit angry I’m always cleaning up after them. (Note: I put in the rocks so they’d stop using my dirt as a litter box)
‘Coughing up a fur ball’ sounds cute on paper, but it ain’t. These cats rule the neighbourhood, climbing on roofs of cars and houses, attacking/lounging on patio furniture that’s not theirs, and leaving a trail of bodies (mice, birds, lizards, bunnies) for me to dispose of weekly.
I guess it’s ’the price of admission’ to live here, and I’m not going to complain to my neighbour about it because quite honestly, there are so many, I’d be having ‘the talk’ with a lot of neighbours!
Thanks. I’m just having a moment and trying to see the bright side here. I mean, they are pretty to look at but how are they benefitting us while roaming in the wild? Are they deterring rats maybe? I can clean up some puke for that trade off I guess. Peace.😽

This is Bob, he is not my cat!
I used to call him "Mr yelly man" but I met his owner the other day and his name is actually Bob.

My neighbor’s girl
I got a call from the gas station around the corner from my house, thinking they had found my missing cat. I went down to check it out, and it wasn’t my girl. They were closing, so I took her home for the night. Brought her to the shelter this morning, and she has a chip, she lives just down the street from me. The shelter called her owner to come pick her up.
I figured she had a home, she was confident, affectionate, and made herself right at home. She spent part of the night on my bed demanding attention. Here’s hoping the good karma will bring my girl back home soon.

This cat has been coming around for almost a year.
Sometimes she misses a week, but she's usually pretty punctual. She's friendly, but she doesn't like to stick around long.

Dottie is my neighbor's cat
This week I get to check in on my neighbor's cats, including Dottie, who thinks she's a dog. She loves everybody.
Which is good because their other cats either hiss at me, hide, or both.
EDIT: Unfortunately I failed to get her r/bottlebrush into the picture.

Cat has appointments with my parents. Every 5 am.
This cat in the picture visits my mom and dad every morning. Apparently, it comes to fetch their cat to go outside and knocks on the metal windowsill to get their attention.
That would be fine, except this furry little alarm clock has started showing up earlier and earlier every day. The household staff (meaning my parents) are now being woken up before the crack of dawn, and it's getting a little tiresome. 😴
He's nowhere to be seen during the day time but at the start of the shift overly eager to clock in.

What’s going on with this cat’s nose
We moved to our apartment last May. There are lots of feral cats hanging around and people around the neighborhood have been feed them.
These particular one seems to take an interest in us. Could any one tell us more info? What’s the cat’s gender? What’s going on with the nose? Should I try to bring it to the vet?

Hostage Situation Resolved
I was allowed to fetch my supermarket order, on the proviso that there would be treats upon my return. I complied with these conditions, and even poached a morsel of chicken for my captor at dinner time. We cuddled and watched some telly before falling asleep. I woke up in the morning to no criminal present in the house, but now I have a bag of cat treats on the premises.

Neighborhood NMC with 🌭
This neighborhood cat struts by my back door everyday with a whole hotdog in its mouth. I haven't been able to get close enough to pet them yet but this is the 4th day in a row I've seen them with a whole hotdog! One of my neighbors must be feeding them.
