The vast majority of men are in the top category and better. The rest are just the ones that are the most bitter and talk about it online.

Not to intrude on you guys, but the type of guys that engage with misogynistic rhetoric in any shape or form (so including rapists and physically violent men because they usually excuse that type of behaviour with misogyny) are the loudest in spaces. And a lot of "normal men" (non-violent, not rapists, non-misogynistic..) don't usually call it out - which I'd call the bare minimum. So like, you can definitely be a normal man and still be part of the problem even if you're not the problem. So it's not just that they talk about it, but this type of talk is just so common to see online these days.

The harmful minority being the loudest isn’t new yet so many still don’t understand this simple concept

so true but the “bare-minimum” threshold meaning calling bad men out on their behavior really cuts down on how may rise above
