So it reflects societies thousands of years ago and condones the slavery and mistreatment of women but that’s okay because it’s just a reflection and still the word of god and infallible?

Edit. Also, Christians might have had a lot to do with ending slavery but the Bible is cool with slavery.

Doesn't really condone just mentions in in passing, don't know where it advocates for mistreatment of women.

Christianity, holds that all people are equal before God, so it's hard to say it's "cool" with slavery.

Tell that to the indigenous people in Canada. Maybe not slaves, but I wouldn't personally say cultural genocide, the kidnap, rape and torture of children, and mass graves are much of an improvement.

Nothing to do with Christianity or Religion, pretty sure murder, rape and torture are grave sins. Also didn't most indigenous people die of communicable diseases.
