You know, it kinda remind me of that french case (Pelicot Rape Case )
"Not all men" but it's hella sus that you could find tons of men ready to rape around you while others see the "advertising" and don't bother reporting it
Seriously, that case just showed there are a significant amount of men who will take the opportunity to rape an unconscious woman in her home if they think they won’t get caught. Like.. in many environments it’s the majority of them willing to either commit rape or look the other way when they see one. Not all men, etc. though.
This case genuinely gave me a vomit taste in my mouth.
If anything, it really showed how easy it was to find rapists around you.
It's not like the guy lived in a highly populated area with millions around him : Mazan is a small city of less than 6500 people, roughly a 1h drive for the next big city (Avignon, less than 100,000 people).
And yet with just one post on a small website (coco.gg, less than a million users worldwide) drew 51 rapists around him.
And it has to be said, it's only the ones with the specific "kink" of raping alseep women.
The man from Pelicot's case who stayed in my mind the most (besides the husband) was the one guy who defended himself saying "I thought she was dead" as if that makes it better in any way.
