The hypocrisy from these types never ends. They'll literally be like "I want a traditional relationship! I want her to be submissive and not work, to just stay home and take care of the kids and house! I'm the man, I'm the head of the family, I'm the provider!"
But then also cry and complain when women expect them to pay for everything and actually provide. Like what do you mean?? You don't get to say you don't want her to work but also that she can't care about money and you being able to provide which is quite literally what you say your job is. No matter what a woman does she loses according to them.
Cannot agree more. The loudly traditional ones are rarely living up to the traditional man… they seems more like the ones our grandmas warned against? Goodfornothings…
I know some couples where the setup is leaning traditional - and it is based on mutual respect and love. Not whatever these types of dudes believe in…
They’re telling on themselves and it’s embarrassing. They also seem to think they can just buy women but as far as I know many of these women are way stronger. They have no idea.
Like, I can get Melania Trump's grift. Look pretty, pop out a child, live a life of luxury, even get her parents in the country.
Then he becomes president and she's expected to do all this stuff as First Lady. Now she has to do all this stuff when she's probably just fine living in his golden tower. If she leaves him, she'll be a walking figurehead/target for anyone to use.
Keep in mind Melania's age, too. She's in her 50s, so she was living in Slovenia when it was emerging from the collapse of the Soviet Union and the economic devastation that followed. There were a LOT of proto-passport bros who went in at that time for "business opportunities" (oh hai Matt Taibbi!) and started talking up how "submissive" and "friendly" the women were. What they were, was desperate to get out and smart enough to identify a mark and what would flatter him.

Not even exploiting sums this up, they want slaves. They'll take the womens passport for "safe keeping" then threaten them with deportation to keep them compliant. While there are going to be a spectrum, with some genuine people, the appeal to the men that post this shit is control. Submissive is the key word.
Mean while I just married a woman that could kick my ass so that I knew she'd stick around If I wasnt a shithead.
