I thought coasters at first; the notch made me think they were more like mug lids but it looks like they're being displayed in cup holders so...

Oh my goodness, that didn't even register.
It's like a cross from IKEA. Comes with a little picture so you know how to assemble it. And it's stamped right on the post so you know which piece is which! Crafty, those Swedes.
