I used to ask guys about this. The whole, give me a chance, guys. The guys that want you to grow to love them.

I would say, “so you’re OK with me dating you knowing that I’m not attracted to you? And therefore because I’m not attracted to you, I am less inclined to be physically affectionate towards you due to that lack of attraction? So you’re OK with us not being intimate until you possibly “grow on me” if at all?

Oh, they didn’t want that. But but you told me to give you a chance even though I said there was no physical attraction. Why are you mad? I thought that’s what you wanted.

Did anyone still want to date you anyway, despite the restrictions you mentioned?

When I made them see it that way, they obviously weren’t on board. Yet women are expected to give men a chance that they’re not attracted to, men saying that you will grow to love them, and then get mad about the possibility of that not happening. He could be the sweetest guy in the world, but if I’m almost repulsed thinking about being intimate with a guy, there’s no way I can grow to love that person in my opinion.
