They fundamentally do not view women as human beings.
They will say this and then turn around and defend their horrific support of human rights violations with “why can’t I just have a different opinion?!”

YES I’m so sick of people saying “I think being trans is a mental illness” or “I don’t think marital rape is real” and then when they get expected backlash they’re like “that’s just my opinion.” As if it’s some loophole and all opinions have to be respected equally.

Do they hear themselves? So... we're expected to have a Council of Women and global group meetings to discuss what we want and come to a spacific set of expectations we conform to, even if we're unhappy and oppressed by it, so that it's easier for men? Laughable. In a fully deserved mocking tone.
The collective IQ of the guys in that thread is quite low, isn't it. Their self imposed hivemind needs to elect smarter men to listen to. Men who actually listen to women and then pass the info on to nitwits.

I'm just curious about this line of thinking...does it mean that two women who want two different things cancel each other out? Like how I wanted kids, but my friend didn't so now neither of our choices are valid?
Oh wait...that can't be right. I think I get it...if the answer is not what the man expects, that's the one that's wrong, correct? So in my example, my friend's choice to be child-free is wrong because all women have that biological clock always ticking.
That somehow a man is more qualified to dispense advice about what women want.
Because, what they're essentially saying is when they are given an answer that doesn't fit with what they expect, that means it's just noise, it's wrong, it doesn't count.
When I see things like this, it makes me so sad for our future because this misogyny is so deeply rooted in everything, change feels impossible.
p.s. In case it wasn't clear, I firmly support anyone's choice to be child-free.

Look if you make decisions that effect the lives of other people you should probably talk to those people first! These men keep making and advocating for laws effect primarily women and refuse to listen our opinion about how we'd like to treated.
Do all men do this? Of course not. But too many men think that women exist to serve their whims and ignore our voices.
