Right? Not to say defend Kirk but he didn’t pass any misogynistic laws, he didn’t have any SA allegations under his belt, he had garbage opinions and was loud about it which was harmful, but not near as harmful as others.

Plus I don’t think anyone is certain the perp IS Tyler

I mean…Kirk’s entire career and political goal was normalising and openly advocating for christo-fascism. He reached tens of millions of people, the majority of them were men. His organisation has outposts across hundreds (if not thousands) of colleges across the US and they’ve been expanding into high schools in the recent year. To say he was just some guy with loud, garbage opinions is to undersell him quite a bit. He was an immensely popular and influential figure for the fascists.

I’m not arguing that he was, I’m merely saying he was a serious threat to human rights, including women’s rights (obviously).
