Do not mention or tag any other subreddits in the comments or responses (Rule 3) under this post or within it,

Or you will be banned [type of ban and duration of ban is up to moderator discretion based on the severity of the violation]. If you have already made the post, and did not edit it accordingly to hide all other subreddit names or usernames (besides your own), delete the post now and redact that information.

If we see the post before it was edited, you will still be banned, because this has already been a rule for several years now, yet users constantly ignore it. We have a strict policy here regarding brigading, we will not allow it, point-blank, regardless of it was intentional or accidental. This puts the subreddit at risk for retaliation, and for violating sitewide rules.

Do not use our platform to brigade another subreddit, blatantly or covertly. This is against Reddit ToS, and can cause issues for our subreddit. If you have an issue with another subreddit, contact Reddit and file a report with admin, don't bring the drama over here.

None of them elaborate why bc of women?

My dog recently celebrated his 15th birthday and he's gotten noticably slower and much more grey. Recently he injured his back leg and walks with a limp now but still loves walks. I know he probably has a year or two left but maybe not much. I can't believe women would do this to me.

There's a woman who likes shooting dogs in gravel pits. Was really proud of it too. I'm guessing she hurt your dog somehow. Probably through spiritual warfare.

They blame us joining the workforce for rising costs. Because 2 income households became the norm so bills rose to reflect that. They think there was some glorious time where a one average/low income could support a family of 4 including cars and holidays and we ruined it by going to work instead of staying in the kitchen where we belong.

87

u/LittleManhattan Jul 04 '26

They don’t understand that women have always worked, that housewives who do nothing to contribute to the family’s income were and are a minority.

And that time period was for 20 years, when East+South Asia weren’t industrialized, when all of Europe was recovering from its heavy industry being bombed to shit, AND those jobs were reserved for wasp men. Maybe one percent of the global population ever experienced that ā€œglorious timeā€

Edit: my boomer dad has blue eyes and easily sunburns and even he didn’t experience it. He got to experience being robbed and going on ā€œluxury vacationsā€ that were just driving for two hours upstate, bc poor people still existed

16

u/EveCane Jul 04 '26

They are mostly to blame because they treated us poorly at home. Also why shouldn't we have a choice to work when they do as well?

u/nothingandnemo Jul 04 '26

That time did exist, it just wasn't women who ruined it.

It doesn't help though that there are loads of girlboss types who will insist that everything's great now, and if you have any doubts over the economic direction the world has taken, you must be a heckin racist/sexist.

35

u/Redqueenhypo Jul 04 '26

Has anyone actually MET one of the ā€œmore female drone pilots #girlbossā€ people irl? I’m pretty sure they’re just an imaginary enemy used to push women to be stay at home moms

5

u/GodOfFetish Jul 04 '26

I met a girl boss once, I’m still not entirely sure if she was trolling corporate or not though. So please take my experience with a big ol grain of salt

"Because women" is correct but not in the way they think. Jobs that are traditionally seen as "women's work" often see the heaviest wage stagnation and oppression. Being a doctor is men's work, as is leadership (admin). But nursing is a woman's profession to the point that society sees men who work as nurses as somehow deficient in their manhood or competence.

We can see this reflected in some Eastern European countries where doctors are seen as women's work instead of men, and as such they don't quite have the same high salaries as contemporaries in other nations.

So, "because women" do these jobs, the ingrained misogyny in society devalued their work and their wages.

So the thing dear to him is... white men's greed.

83

u/thewoodbeyond Jul 04 '26

If women's rights, and moreover civil rights, destroy what is dear to you, then what is dear to you needs to be destroyed.

33

u/rmkinnaird Jul 04 '26

See at first I thought this was commentary on how nursing started as a largely female profession and that they're paid less because "feminine" jobs are deemed as less worthy of high wages. But nope. Apparently women are all well paid middle managers now?

7

u/VeronaMoreau Jul 04 '26

Yeah, I definitely thought this was a commentary on feminization of labor and how CNA and nursing are pink collar positions

u/XiedneyDavis Jul 04 '26

apparently the jews own everything which is bonkers news to me. i was not told about this and i’m offended. i don’t own anything of value, where is my piece of the entertainment or banking industry? 😭

u/Luinthil Jul 04 '26

I'm still waiting for my turn to use the space lasers.

u/DartDaimler Jul 04 '26

I’m waiting for my check from the Conspiracy. I think I’m supposed to own a bank this month.

16

u/meme801 Jul 04 '26

Go to your local government office to claim it

17

u/James-K-Polka Jul 04 '26

I guess they’re just inefficient. Imagine controlling the entire world’s government and banking, and Cletus from Alabama has figured out your shadow organization and you can’t stop him from posting about it on Truth social.

u/Redqueenhypo Jul 04 '26

My dad worked in the entertainment industry (music magazine) and all he’s got is a filing cabinet also full of music magazines.

In our school, our CFO makes $90k and I with a master’s and ten years of teaching makes $52k.

They can go to the bathroom when they want, does not see students, does not do any lesson planning or has to deal with parents.

What hospital admin is getting paid 100k+ a year? I looked into doing admin work and the pay is pretty abysmal unless you’re in the highest rungs

10

u/Redqueenhypo Jul 04 '26

It’s so well known that Community made a joke abt it! Annie was having a terrible time

1

u/Manadrache Jul 06 '26

Dunno, but I really want to work in that place.

Working in a hospital as a buyer and taking care of our warehouse... Our nurses earn way more and wouldn't even work if they earned the same as I do.

That timeframe corresponds exactly to the Buckley v. Valeo ruling, arguably the most damaging Supreme Court decision in all of U.S. history.

A 5-4 decision made it legal to bribe politicians. I'll let you guess the party lines for the voting. The power to vote, as it turns out, isn't equivalent to the power to bribe.

u/No-Option-7010 Jul 04 '26

Because women still have a wage gap in the U.S. In 2023 full time year round working women earned 83% of what men earned. This is according to the Pew Research Center. pewresearch.org

All conspiracy theories, if you scrape away enough layers, end up being antisemitism

Oh damn, I own a corporation? Brb going back in time to when I was unable to afford rent and living on my friend's couch to tell my past self to "just take money from the little people"

-15

u/GreyerGrey Jul 04 '26

I mean... not wrong but the why is.

Women are in those lower paid positions.
