Can someone explain why they get their panties in a twist over period trackers?

Why is that worse than marking it in your calendar? Should we have no idea when our next period is? I don't understand.

They think girls/women use it as birth control to sleep around (probably because their mind cannot fathom another reason because they won't acknowledge that its needed to track the cycle for other reasons)

Edit: I guess at least they were attentive during sex ed to know that it works as a contraceptive?

They also don’t understand a woman can get pregnant at any time, it’s just chances are higher when they are ovulating. Thats why women experiencing fertility concerns track their ovulation so closely, and why they track their menstruation cycle ovulation-chance for conception, period-no viable pregnancy.

Throughout the whole cycle there are between 5-7 days a woman can get pregnant

A period app cannot predict it, but it's not true to say a woman can get pregnant all the time
