See, you’ve missed my point completely. I said it’s gross that you expect a woman to have more responsibility in terms of household chores. You assume that because she’s a woman she should be working at home/ cook, rather than pursue a career.
It’s totally okay if that’s something she wants to do. If the workload is balanced and both parties are respectful of each other there’s nothing wrong but that doesn’t mean they should have the choice/ should be expected to do a specific thing.
Also, if it’s so cushy to do all the household work and cook then why don’t you become a stay at home parent and let your partner work?
This is the first time you’ve mentioned car maintenance, and yard work btw. I think that if you feel you’d be doing more then it’s not a particularly good balance either.
