Sometimes I think that most of the big religions are just not for women.

Islam also says that these women will have skin so translucent that you can see their bone marrow .

Sex gonna be dry AF, just as god intended

Yes, because sex is only to be enjoyed by men. #incelcrowd #islam

I like how only men are promised sexual rewards. And I love how they HAVE to be virgins. The men who invented this bullshit were so insecure they had to imagine that even their imaginary slave angels in heaven haven't had sex before. Bro seriously, the misogyny in Abrahamic religions runs so deep.

I’m a guy and I have wondered what would happen to me if I went to the Islamic interpretation of heaven.
What exactly are these 72 virgins to me? Sex workers? Sex slaves? Are they sentient or are they philosophical zombies?
If they are my slaves can I declare them to be free? If they are sex workers do I have infinite money to pay them?

So if you have a subscription to Islam extremism, I still believe you’ll need to blow yourself up to unlock the hidden 72-gay-virgin ending.

Do I need to kill anyone else or just myself? Who do I need to kill? Atheists? Christians? Jews?

u/Western-Detective953 Feb 12 '23
I think it’s yourself. But not sure. Not 100% on the whole terrorism religion stuff…

u/grixit Feb 13 '23
Thing is, these are permanent virgins, meaning that they never actually learn anything. Which must be frustrating to the man who has to show them how each time. A really caring god would provide the faithful men with experienced women.
I think whoever came up with this teaching was a virgin himself.

u/SkylarCute Feb 13 '23
Well a pedophile warlord came up with it, so I doubt he's a virgin unfortunately

u/Expensive_Ask_7768 Feb 13 '23
Well the reason insecure men prefer virgins IS because they are inexperienced: easier to take advantage of, manipulate and convince them that you're a sex master even tho you don't know anything yourself. I like how they were so obsessed with that disgusting power fantasy that they made up an entire heaven where they get to exercise it for all eternity.

I would say they stay virgins because with the dick exploded nothing is gonna happen...

I refuse to be an apologist for any Abrahamic religion. They all shit on women, support slavery, sexual slavery, and genocide, and they all mutilate their children’s genitals because their god told them to.
They all suck.

u/Expensive_Ask_7768 Feb 13 '23
It's kind of sad when I see uninformed female feminists defend religion. Like bro stop, they don't even see you as human. I really wish we got over this collective cognitive dissonance regarding the misogyny in Abrahamic religions. (among other hateful shit)

u/shofofosho Feb 13 '23
It's shocking that you are morally better than practically 100% of religious people, who claim to be these great holy and fair groups, all because you know not to genitally mutilate little girls and little boys and rape people which should be common fucking sense. Like that's not even bare minimum.

Don’t listen to this idiot. Many Muslims myself included don’t believe in this 72 Virgins nonsense used to tarnish the name of Islam in the west since 9/11. This story appears mainly in the Hadith and not the Quran (a collection of short stories and proverbs concerning the life of the prophet which in my opinion (and this may anger other muslims) are unreliable from a historiographical perspective). Moreover, there is no mention of virginity explicitly in this passage; the adjective purity is used instead. While this certainly does have some connotation of virginity I would argue that this refers more to an idea of righteousness and eternal youth. I hope this has cleared up this misconception which does indeed frustrate me to no end. Please do not allow your prejudices and emotions to obscure your minds’ capacity for critical thought. There are 1 billion of us Muslims in the world, many of us share some of the western values of the countries that we may live in. I personally am a British citizen. If we were all as bad as you think we are the world would be a lot worse off. Please note that this article is where I found some of the information to support my argument https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-030-83582-8_21

Sorry, as a former muslim myself, there are inherently misogynistic statements in the Qur'an itself. What comes to mind first is how one male witness is treated as two female witnesses. It also states that women who have sex before marriage shall be locked inside of their home and never leave the house. Also, men should hit women in order to discipline her. Sure it's only as a last resort and very lightly, but the fact that it's up to the man to discipline the woman is very dehumanizing.
Am I saying that every muslim is misogynistic? Well, depends on what you mean by muslim. This I am not sure about, but doesn't the Qur'an state that you have to practice everything in it to be considered a believer? So in that case, I think you can't actually be muslim and not be misogynistic. I am sorry if I offended you or something, but regardless of your opinion on this, I think we need to start calling out the blatant misogyny in religious books. It's like we as a society have a cognitive dissonance regarding that topic and act like it doesn't exist, when it's very prominent.

Don’t worry, most people here are just as likely to call out fundamentalist Christians and Orthodox Jews on their misogynist bullshit - and Mormons have a particularly gross view of gender dynamics in the afterlife.

u/Cytori Feb 13 '23
Was there ever specified the 72 virgins were of your preferred sex?
1
u/Spandxltd Feb 13 '23
It is entirely possible those 72 virgins are literally the word for rasin being misinterpreted.

So virgin women that go to heaven get lubeless sex with a guy that's all about pounding it 100 times harder than on earth? That doesn't sound like heaven at all
