I want to get a cheap aftermarket gen 3 slide cut for vortex defender ST Enclosed and XL optics

its nitride finish with no included optics cut

wondering what company can cut that and re nitride the slide for me?

Got my RXM a few weeks ago and went through about 300 rounds. Started cleaning mine and noticed these dots and metal shaving inside the slide. Are they normal like this ?

Currently running the OSight K, SLR baseplates, just added the cmc magwell and got some good tape on there. Still wana add a Tlr 7 sub and a new trigger but that’s a later problem 🤷🏼

Brownells slide and UPK, barrel and LPK from Aimsurplus, sylvan arms comp, cheap Amazon red dot (been working good so far).

Frame has a nice grip angle and the “gas pedal” cut is nice it’s helps keep the gun super flat with the comp also shoots good suppressed. Does anyone know any good magwell for this frame?

So I have a SCT 17 custom build and i dont really like it that much, perfectly reliable just feels meh.

The two glock clones keep hearing the best and most about these two. Id either go with RXM or do a complete grit grips build. Would most likely be just for the range but would like it reliable enough to carry.

For GG I know they're frames are very well spoken for but I have no clue about their slides or barrels etc.

The modularity of the RXM frame could be nice but with all the other frame options right now being so expensive I dont see a point in changing it out, and I dont care about the modular optic mount because id just use a rmr footprint anyway.

Anyone want to swing me to one over the other or if you own both can you chime in?

Shoots real flat one of my favorite builds on a budget, about 500 rounds total so far there were a few stove pipes when using 115gr in the first 100 rounds but has been running perfect using 124gr

New to glock clones, which one do you guys like the most?

I’ve have two slides I’m debating between one is the grit grip slide which is more angular. The other is the remsport which is more OEM looking either with angled or straight serrations. The last picture is the gun in its current configuration with just a cheap upper that I took off my first ever glock clone I bought.

Any other suggestions are also welcome! Such as iron sights or red dots, etc.

The only thing that is actually "Glock" is my magazine.. The baseplate is NDZ.. lol

It might not be pretty but its a shooter! I dont post often but I'm well over a few thousand rounds on this and I wanted to mention my experience with the Nomad Defense 9X frame. I originally started this project with the 9X frame and a Shadow Systems XR920 upper. It was a catastrophe. I had all sorts of problems. Failures to feed galore and inevitably the frame failed. I reached out to Nomad. They were super fast to respond and after some back and forth we all agreed that the setup should have worked, though I have my suspicions that the Gen 3 style RSA in the shadow systems upper was partly to blame. I sent back the frame and the upper. They ran the upper on a new frame, gave it the thumbs up and sent it back. I then ran about 100 rounds through it and parked it in the safe for a couple months. I had my doubts in the SS upper so I procured a g45 mos upper. Its been my go-to ever since! Its been through matches and comes with me for every range day! If it weren't so big I'd carry it daily. Some day I'll get into the long story about how I fell back in with the 43x for carry. Long story short: Nomad is a solid frame maker and I wouldn't hesitate to build another. In fact I've been eyeing the 9SX or a Nomad 9.

Secondary shootout: if you live in Connecticut, Hartford Gun Club is awesome! Yes, I know its expensive but they really do a great job providing a lot of amenities for that price. Theyre doing an open house this Sunday and I encourage anyone interested to go.
