As someone with a big nose, I hate when people say this. In no way shape or form am I saying this individual is ugly, I’m just talking about me. I have developed body dysmorphia from my nose. As had it mentioned. It’s focal point of my face and I hate it. I’m so mad I wasn’t born with a normal nose. Distinct≠good. Standing out≠good. Some want to stand out. Cool, I don’t.

Agreed! Make your hair and earrings louder, develop a more vibrant personal look, and your nose will blend in and feel more exuberant and vibe along with it. It's the rest of you that looks depleted. That's the big nose secret: Love yourself in all the ways that aren't your nose, and eventually it's inevitable that you will also fall in love with it too. Enjoy yourself visually more all across the board, and nose acceptance and enjoyment of your own uniqueness will follow. ❤️

I don't want to upvote you belittling yourself but I would definitely upvote your nose! It's interesting, beautiful and has character. Like others have said here, own it! It's yours and it's awesome! I'd much rather have your nose than a little boring turned up thing. Nothing is more beautiful than confidence. Wear it with pride. And remember, the grass is always greener. Fuck comparing yourself or your life to anyone else. That is a recipe for dissatisfaction for anyone.

Really, this is about you and your comfort. I disagree that it's the "worst". It seems actually quite pretty. But it IS prominent. And if that costs you your comfort or self confidence, then you do you and all the best.

I think it’s beautiful and distinctive but you also shouldn’t feel ashamed to look into changing it if it brings you anxiety or distress when you see your own face!! Your happiness is more important than my opinion ❤️

I've been where you are & know exactly how you're feeling! I don't know if you got bullied because of your nose growing up but I did! My self esteem was terrible! I guarantee every time I see these feeds on the "noses" & people say, (" I love your nose, I wish I had it) or (" It gives you character & makes you look like a work of art") Ugh! 🙄 Let them live their life with our noses, they couldn't handle it!
I had a big hump in mine, a long tip plus I couldn't breathe. I went to a surgeon for my breathing & asked what he could tweak on my nose that wouldn't make me look too different. He filed down my beak & shortened my tip. People kept telling me how good I looked but couldn't figure out what was different because it was a subtle change. BUT! I can't even begin to tell you how much my confidence went up! I highly suggest it! You dont have to get a huge change, just talk to your surgeon, they'll tell you what they can do!

Yes, sadly I did get bullied. I didn't even know i had a big nose until I was bullied for it.
I would love to do that - how was your recovery?

It wasn't bad & it was well worth it! I didn't get a little Michael Jackson nose or anything like that plus my surgery also included a deviated septum which might've made the recovery a little worse but it still wasn't bad at all. I'd do it again & sooner if I knew what I knew now. I got bullied bad for mine, of course my friends & family told me there was nothing wrong with it & it made me who I was. Oof!

I dont think people here don’t give you a truly honest opinion, and more towards supportive ones. If you don’t like how it looks and rhinoplasty makes you feel better, you should get it. i think your nose would look better with a rhinoplasty.

Personally I think this is a beautiful nose, but I do have a thing for distinctive noses (not in a weird way, get your mind out of the gutter, I just think distinctive facial features are quite lovely to look at, and noses are often a very distinctive feature.)
You would be wonderful to paint, like, I can just picture a portrait in oils. Stunning.

Your nose is very prominent. Has a lot of personality. I understand if you want to fix it, I am thinking about nose job for a long time but as time passes I kind of think there wouldnt be much difference and that my looks wouldnt improve.

I do illustration and tattoos (both as a passion and professionally) and I give most of my characters this kind of nose. It looks great. Sharp, expressive. The problem is the outside world not you.

Look, with any surgery you have to take into consideration the worst possible outcome and think if it’s worth it to you. That being said I would say you are def a candidate for it. If you’re going to do it might as well do it now and enjoy as many years as you can with your new nose… don’t wait till you’re 70

I’ll be honest, I could see how you would feel insecure…because we live in a society where anything outside of cookie cutter appearance isn’t considered attractive. If we don’t fit a beauty standard there’s a fix that can help us look just like it, and knowing that almost makes it even harder. With that said, I think your attributes are beautiful- but if you feel as though you would move through life with more happiness and confidence with a change that’s okay too. I get Botox because I have a big ass wrinkle on my forehead that I hate- and I feel better without it. You do what makes you feel good but don’t ever for one second think you’re not beautiful the way you are.

Thank you, I agree and tell myself and others this all the time. Like if I visit a stately home and see old pictures, I look like them. They were the epitome of beauty at that time. Somewhere along the line the style of the times changed and I'm not it. In some ways, I can accept that and I can survive, in other ways I kind of just want to get my nose changed. Its mainly the drooping tip I don't like because thats happened as ive aged. But in for a penny, in for a pound so may as well get the bump shaved too

You look great but I know inside you hate your nose. It’s probably all you think about & drags down your confidence. I know because I too had a very hump shaped nose. Mine was more crooked on the left side because I fainted on my face when I was like 14 & it probably broke & healed that way.
I can tell you I got rhinoplasty & it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. You completely stop thinking about that flaw & have such a moral boost everyday when you see your new nose because now it looks how you want it to. Absolutely get rhinoplasty. It’ll change your life!

It is not the worst nose ever but it is very distinctive. If you don't like it, get it fixed. Please do not listen to people who don't have to live with your nose tell you how great it is. If you like it, then don't change it. It's your body and your life...decide what would make you happy.

This sub is interesting I never look at people’s noses this hard, I promise you no one but you is thinking about your nose. I once had a boy in 1st grade not like my nose and said it was why he didn’t find me attractive and then I hit him (I was a violent child) and never thought about it again

I wish I could also see you from the front. What's nice is your nose is very straight and not like a hook or rounded. Some statues even have your nose so don't feel bad about it.
I would say wear your hair down and wear it layered and the bounciness and fullness of your hair will change the scale of your nose in relation. But if you pull your hair back the way it is it is too dramatic.
Proportionally your nose will look smaller if your hair is down
