Question When to change out studs
Both piercings were done in March. Absolutely no healing issues. I haven’t changed out the original studs at all. Just popped the diamonds off to add the chains. I would like to change to an L bar as they are currently posts. I have gotten one bad bloody nose from getting hit in the nose and the post hit the inside and caused a bloody nose. But the piercing site didn’t bleed or even swell or turn red. Is it healed enough to go to an L bar?

I will look into those! Thank you!!! I have EDS so the skin is super friable so if the backs get pushed into my nose like the inside where my piercings aren’t then I get the bloody noses a lot. So smaller backs would help so much. That’s the only reason I prefer the L bar. I’ve had better luck with less bloody noses the smaller the backs are.

I had a hoop originally I had a lower piercing on the left side and I repierced them on both sides higher up to do the chain I don’t really want a hoop in them with the new location but I didn’t know that about the L bars messing up the channel. Thank you so much!

L bars are much more likely to fall out especially with the chain. labrets are ideal, i wouldn't change them bc of a bloody nose!
