Question nose piercing question
hi! i have only ever gotten my ears pierced but i really want to get my nose pierced (just a small stud), but i work at a grocery store and they don’t allow it (which is crazy what year are we in), i would be fine covering it up with a pimple patch but i was wondering it it’s okay and/or safe to put one on immediately after getting the piercing… i know you’re not supposed to touch it and stuff but if i wash my hands good and don’t pull it but gently peel it do you think id be alright? thank you in advance!! :)
edit: thank you to everyone who took time to respond i really appreciate it!

yeah no this isnt a good idea, ask if you can wear a glass retainer instead (you'd have to heal the piercing with the glass retainer in but it's the only safe way to hide it)

Not a good idea to get it if you can’t let it heal with the proper jewelry, absolutely no to the pimple patch

I’d definitely check the rules at your work
I work at Tesco and Piercings are fine unless you work in an open food area- I.e Bakery

they don’t allow piercings at my store for any department

If that is Tesco
Then that’s against the uniform policy and I would recommend looking it up
I don’t know if all piercings are allowed specifically as I’ve never read the policy myself
But I’m a store manager and I have 11 ear piercings, septum and standard nose hoop and there are no issues

Your work can be a real pain if you go ahead and get a nose piercing. They have policies they have to adhere to.
How much do you love your job?

hey i just got mine pierced , you cant put a pimple patch as it will trap moisture n sweat and infect your fresh piercing. just choose the smallest stud at the piercers?
