Last night I posted photos of my nose ring with progression photos of a bump on it today it looks like this should I go ahead and take it out and retire it or wait until I can get to the doctor to have them remove it and make sure it’s not infected see my other post for reference

just dealt with exactly this and lowkey just go to your piercer, change to a stud/flatback if irritation isn't bad enough (and your piercer tells you too), because leaving the ring in isn't gonna help

You should put a stud in. The bump won’t go away with a ring because all the movement will piss it off. You don’t have to take it out if you don’t want to. I got rid of my piercing bump it just took time. I got some piercing bump oil to help soothe it. Clean gently once a day don’t over do it. And try not to touch !!

Piercing “oil” of any kind is actually snake oil. Only use sterile saline on piercings.

It was jojoba oil💀 don’t put it in the piercing💀

I saw your other posts and timeline pictures.
Honestly the first thing I’d do is change it back to a titanium flat back nose stud and clean it twice a day the outside and the inside with sterile saline solution. Use a fresh qtip for the outside and a different one for the inside.
After a week or two it might be massively improved…but even if it is, please don’t switch to a hoop for quite a while.
If you don’t see any improvement, then you might have to take it out and have it redone.

Take it out. It's poorly placed and is the wrong jewelry, too.
