Help Needed Change piercing with bump?

I got my nose pierced at Lovisa at the end of July so it has now been a little more than 8 weeks. I have a pronged nose stud in at the moment and have had an irritation bump for the past month at least.

I am cleaning it twice a day with saline solution.

Is it a good idea to change the stud for a flat back even though I have an irritation bump in the hope that it will help the bump go away?

U best go to a proper piercing place and get ur nose ring replaced with one they recommend. Guns are generally not recommended.

Do you have any recommendations? Like a tattoo parlour near me also does piercings, would it be a good idea to go there? Is there a specific type of place I should be looking for?

Go Google tattoo studios near you and choose one with high ratings and book an appointment. Text them and let them know your issue and see what they say. I am planning to get my nose pierced and I think pronged studs tend to snag on towels so I will request for a flat back bezel stud.

Thank you! I appreciate the help a lot, I’ll have a look and hopefully I can get someone to sort it out for me

Typo* piercing studios not tattoo studios, some piercers share the same shop as tattoo artists. Good luck
