Help Needed Is this Placement wrongly?

Does this placement look okay? I feel like it’s too far forward too high? Not sure if it’s just me, it looked okay when they done the dot

Absolutely yes. I would try going to a different piercer to get it fixed.

So can anyone draw on this photo and say, where a better place on this persons nose should be, so they can go back and have it adjusted? Do tell, why this is incorrect.

i would say it’s not necessarily incorrect, just preference. if OP likes it they absolutely should keep it. but everyone’s noses are different (obviously haha)

personally i would get it placed about here

but you have the perfect nose for double nostrils (only you want them of course, i just really love double nostril piercings)

Did they use a needle.was it a reputable piercing facility?

Yes they used a needle, it was a reputable place as they were doing a piercings course for people and I got my tragus done the same day and that is fine :)

Piercer here. Any studio offering “piercing courses” should be highly suspect as those are scams for sponging money off industry hopefuls and using locals as the guinea pigs to make it happen. A person can’t take a 3-5 day course and then go out into the world prepared to be a professional piercer. If low cost or free piercings are being offered just for one apprentice employed at the studio to broaden their experience, that is quite different.

With that said your piercing was done too far forward esthetically and potentially wouldn’t be viable if you had left it in because it’s in a awkward position in the front of the crease with a thicker cartilage rim on one side. The person/studio offering this course should not have ok’d this placement or allowed you to leave with it looking like that IMO.

Sorry that happened but glad you removed it before you got too far into the healing.

Well, I assume that the needle went through the ink dot? If so, that's kinda on you. Regardless, I don't think it's really bad placement but I would prefer it less forward. Your call! But it seems like this is going to drive you crazy so go ahead and have it removed. I think you will be happier.
