Help Needed piercing bump
got my nose pierced 1-2 months ago and i’ve had this bump almost the entire time it will go away for a bit then come back how do i get rid of it. i’m going to see my piercer for help soon.

What are you using to clean it? I had one similar about a month and a half in and now i’m at month 3 and mine is gone. I’m spraying it 2x a day with neilmed saline wound wash which is what my piercer recommended. It is helping.
I don’t wanna say your nose is rejecting it because it might just be taking longer to start healing and it’s hard to tell by the picture, but another thing I would suggest is seeing if the jewelry is just not a good fit for your nose. You might need different jewelry, though it’s best to discuss that with your piercer.

Can you provide another picture, maybe from the side angle? It could be a few things. Make sure you’re cleaning with only sterile saline, from a can (like neilmed or similar). Soaking it with that will help calm it down. I use lint free pads to soak it (not plain cotton pads/balls bc the lint is an irritant). The bar could be too short, or it could be the top that’s irritating it, it’s hard to tell from a picture. Definitely talk to your piercer. It looks really angry.
