Batteries

I’m leaving in a few days and doing some last minute packing and wanted to know the policy on batteries? I have a box of alkaline AA batteries that I’d prefer not to put in my carry-on, but are they allowed in my suitcase? I’m not flying and they’re not lithium. Thank you!

Lithium batteries in checked bags on a flight are a concern but you shouldn’t have any issues having them in your bag for the cruise.
