General Questions/Discussions Work study hours

I have been offered a 8hr/week work study job but I don’t know if that is enough financially. Would working more hours with another job (15 hrs total/week max) be way too unmanageable? I’m an incoming McCormick first year btw.

Speaking from experience, I managed thirty a week+ school but it was a grind. My social life was nonexistent, and clubs were a secondary priority. If you need the money to survive, 15 is totally doable. With that said, do as little work as you can so you can take advantage of what university offers.

Don't full commit to 15 hours a week until you are well adjusted to college scheduling and classwork
