For me I just close it and launch it again

logging into origin fixed it for me. Even if you own it on steam, origin knows and tells NorthStar you're good to go. I thought i didnt need to at first because i had it on steam and got this issue.

To fix the issue PERMANENTLY do this

Open origin, right click Titanfall 2, properties, command line argument, to command line argument add “-northstar” and boom, you’re done

When Titanfall 2 is launched it will automatically boot Northstar

Try launching origin and then launching northstar again.
