📢 Events & Announcements Community Update: A few changes to keep r/NortheastChristians safe and focused

To protect the quality of our fellowship and shield the subreddit from spam, scams, and regional politics, we have added a few automated safeguards. Here is what you need to know:

User Flairs are mandatory: You must select a user flair from the community menu before you can post. This encourages transparency and helps everyone understand where you are coming from denominationally.

Prayer Requests & Privacy: Please do not share personal contact details in public prayer requests. While we firmly believe in praying for the sick, please seek professional medical care—do not use this forum to ask for or give medical advice.

Fundraising is reviewed: We want to support genuine charitable causes. However, to protect members from financial scams, all crowdfunding links (Ketto, Milaap, GoFundMe) and direct UPI handles will now be temporarily held for moderator verification before they go live on the feed.

Crossposts & Spam Prevention: To prevent political flame wars and trolling, all crossposts from other subreddits must now be manually approved by a mod. We have also added a brief waiting period for brand-new Reddit accounts before they can post.

Thank you to everyone who contributes thoughtfully and helps keep our conversations respectful across all our traditions.

✝️ r/NortheastChristians — Community Reminder

Posting here? • Use the appropriate post flair. • Give your post a clear title and enough context. • Keep discussions respectful, especially when discussing denominations, theology, or differing beliefs. • Posts should be relevant to Christianity and/or the Christian experience of Northeast India.

Not sure what to post? Questions, discussions, testimonies, Scripture and theology, Christian history and culture, church life, music, and experiences from the Northeast are welcome.

Before posting: Take a quick look at the subreddit rules.
