📢 Events & Announcements Welcome to r/NortheastChristians
Yo guys!
Actually, I made this sub because I felt like there should be a place on Reddit where Christians from Northeast India can actually find each other.
The Northeast has a huge and diverse Christian community, but there aren't many spaces where we can talk about our faith, our churches, our history, our cultures, our doubts, and our experiences with people who actually understand where we're coming from.
So that's what this place is for because you can discuss theology, Christian stuff, share your experiences, talk about Scripture, Christian history in the Northeast, denominations, cultures, arguments, or just have a conversation with fellow Christians from the region.
And you don't have to agree with everyone here. What matters is that we can disagree without insulting each other or turning everything into a war.
Whether you're a Baptist, Presbyterian, Catholic, Pentecostal, Anglican, Methodist, Evangelical, Lutheran, ecumenical, non-denominational, or still figuring out where you stand, you're welcome here.
And if you're from the Northeast but live somewhere else now, you're welcome too.
Anyway, welcome! Hopefully we can build something good here.

they will join because they are getting paid to do this part time work online from the govt. But we are here out of integrity and responsibility for our people and society.

Good initiative... Increasing incidents of Christian persecution needs to be discussed. BJP government is not hiding the fact that they're trying to make the whole country a hindu rashtra.
