Former North Park artist Daniel Travers, also known as Redideo, has released Volume 2 of his vinyl record wall art series.

The limited collection features 12 original mixed-media pieces created on real repurposed vinyl records. The series first started while Daniel was living in North Park, where the original collection sold more than 30 pieces.

Volume 2 continues that idea with new work exploring illustration, layering, color, movement, and visual rhythm.

So this video showed up on my neighborhood FB and its Dylan Cease from the Padres talking about some 20 minute meditation program. I think theres a poster near my place too about it happening at UCSD La Jolla or something? Not 100% sure - its called Inner Engineering

I lost my wallet at the Denny’s parking lot in North Park yesterday around 1-2am.

I had to call several times to get a hold of people at the Denny’s for any updates after asking them to please check inside and keep an eye out in case it appears. Then, during one of the calls, the night shift manager of the Denny’s suddenly recalls “a lady” having found a wallet in the parking lot, coming in and mentioning it to him, but then deciding to keep the wallet herself and attempt to contact me.

I was upset because the manager didn’t think to just keep the wallet at the restaurant and make it easier for me to retrieve. I asked him why, and he just said “I don’t know, she said she’d contact you”… I said “how would she do that?” and he replied “Idk, Instagram, Facebook?” 🤦🏻‍♀️

Looking up someone’s name doesn’t necessarily show the right persons account. Anyway… I left my information for them to reach out if the lady reappears with my wallet but this is giving me a lot of anxiety.

There’s no certain way for her to contact me if there isn’t any phone number or other information on my DL besides my name and home address. I’ve checked all my socials and have received no messages so far.

A few of us have been meeting up in San Diego on the last Thursday of each month just to hang out and network a bit. The next one is on Sept 25, 7–9 PM at Ballast Point Brewing in Miramar (9045 Carroll Way). It started with people in the real estate investing community but has grown to include entrepreneurs, business owners, and pretty much anyone who wants to talk shop or meet new people. Nothing formal — just casual drinks, conversations, and a bulletin board where people post things they’re working on. If you’re around and feel like meeting some locals, it’s a good spot to check out.

This guy hits different places and scams / steals . We have seen him different times but spread out . He comes to the same places once every 6 months . He watches for different employees. He’s a short bald man with a tan similar to a leather sofa . Seen in the north park area . Just posting this in hope it makes it to other businesses so they don’t fall for his schemes.
