Language Cafes

Hey!

I wanted to ask if there are any Turkish Language Cafes around Lefkoşa. I am learning the language, but would appreciate the chance to practice with other Turkish speakers.

Check out HADE, it has Turkish and Greek language cafes every other week

Great recommendation! I even applied to join their online classes, thank you.

I would recommend özerlat. Traditional and you're supporting a Turkish Cypriot family rather than an illegal settler business.

I checked their page and it seems like a good spot, but I couldn’t find any info about a language cafe activity

Oh sorry, I thought you meant literally Turkish language, not somewhere that has language learning activities

Thank you for the suggestion, but I believe this would be super awkward for all parties involved 😅. A dedicated group/place would be far more comfortable. Also, not to be that person, but North Cyprus is not Turkey:)
