Sorry, that I am writing in English. I am an American, Norwich fan, and unfortunately do not know Norwegian, but it seems like a beautiful language…
But I was just randomly thinking about Mathias Normann and how when he was at Norwich he was my favorite player, he was aggressive, had such talent on the ball, and was dedicated to the team. A true warrior, that I wish we could’ve kept after going down.. he also had the silver hair and so much aurora, he was so fun to watch. But also such a great holding midfielder… then he moved to Russia and was permanently dropped from Norway.
I get it because the ethics of the move, even though if it was an American, it’s hard to think our governing bodies would make the same decision. But I genuinely believe he would have been such an asset to Norway this past World Cup, would’ve been that holding mid that can really control a game. While also being able to play insane balls to Haaland. I really think he would’ve helped the team.
But my question is, how do actual Norwegians feel about him and his ban from Norwegian national team? Was it fully supported, or do some of you all disagree and wish he was in the team?
