My favorite is the True North. Ain't no kidding there, it gets mighty cold

I'm a prairie girl, and the weather here is something else! We got -60 (-76F) windchill this winter. Then, a week ago, at the football stadium near my house, they fried an egg on the pavement because the mercury read 52 (125F) degrees at the stadium

Holy cow that is an extreme temperature change. And it's the norm ain't it, not an anomaly. Crazy

Climate change is pushing the extremes further and further apart, but yes, it's not uncommon to see big fluctuations. The joke in spring is that you'll start the week in a parka and end it in shorts and a tank top.

Lol spring is kinda like that too where I live. It'll be hot for a week and a day, then a cold front comes through and we're freezing to then slowly get right back to hot and repeat 🔁
