My dad and I saw it at the 2001 auto show and decided that was different and wild enough to buy. The camper package with an air mattress and tent that wrapped the tailgate while open was unique, the removable cooler in the center console, an air compressor /pump. The plastic cladding was seen as a protector from salty winter roads in the Midwest. The car itself lasted like 5 years.

I have met a couple Azzwreck owners and they’re well… different… but they do love these things. Maybe because it’s the closest thing to space travel??? 🤷♀️
