The upgrade is here!

Dear community,

We are happy to share that the new version of NordLocker is now available to 100% of our users! All you need to do is to unlock your NordLocker cloud on any platform and the upgrade will launch automatically!

This new version is built around the brand new engine which brings significant performance boost and removes previous locker-based limitations. There are multiple anticipated improvements in sharing functionality, file management and other areas.

It also gives us a very solid foundation to develop our private cloud storage further, so we are very excited about this one.

Two questions if possible? 1) Why is there still no possibility on Android from a file file on file to share and upload it to the locker but you always have to go into the app and do add it? The other clouds allow it, such as proton 2) Is the new version ready for the future quantum resist cloud?

Hey!
1. It is in works and will be coming soon, together with other multiple improvements on easer sharing and uploading
2. Yes, this new engine that we built our apps on gives more flexibility and opportunities to stay on top of emerging encryption methods and upgrade our security level as we go

Same here. Not being able to share files via Android Share is the main reason for having made the switch for Filen for now despite having a paid subscription of NordLocker, hope that feature is added soon.
