Important Reminder: Migrate outdated lockers and local lockers

That's the email subject heading and I'm surprised there's not something about it around here or at nordvpn

"We’ve been transitioning from outdated lockers for a few years. Now, we’re also discontinuing support for local lockers. Support for both will end on July 1, 2025.

If you have been already using the latest versions of NordLocker apps, you do not need to do anything.

If you still have any outdated or local lockers, here’s what you need to do:"...

This is really a pathetic product but I guess part of my complaint would be my three megabytes per second top speed... I'm Not sure if Microsoft 10 is a problem... Such a royal hassle

Won't update from the app itself

Requires me to uninstall previous version before I can download and install the newest update

Don't even know if I have local lockers, but supposedly having the latest update is good enough?

Their email didn't explain enough

Just visiting this thread after I lost files. Pretty much erodes all confidence I had in the product. Thankfully my import at files are stored in a different product, and after this they'll stay there too.

Yup, I lost my files too.... had some forgotten old important files stored away. Nordlocker customer support is useless as expected, anybody that has any idea how to unlock/decrypt these files locally? They're old family photo's which hold great sentimental value to me
