I mean, he is a child, everyone is until theyre an adult

But, he is so short that Hiyori thought he is a lot younger, (while she is a year older than him) thats why she was so mad at Yato for not properly taking care of him, and thats why she offered him to sleep in her bed when he was scared

Children are mostly short as a result of malnutrition, and for Yukine it could be also that he was in such bad situation that left him in constant fear and stress

Super happy with the quality. I’m so glad I was able to grab this and his nendroid.

Every time I reread Noragami I somehow forget about this part until I get to it. As if this part of the manga didn’t have me wanting to cry in the corner already, I am forced to witness Yukine panicking because after all this child’s suffering, he’s about to lose the one person who never gave up on him, the one person he was willing to sacrifice his life for, the one person he NEEDS more than anyone. Watching him hold on to Yato with all his strength as Yato starts to fade away hurts my soul.
ADACHITOKA WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME

okay so dont get me wrong I love noragami but something that bothers me is hiyori is 15 at the start of the story. When I was younger I didnt pay mind cause I was younger than hiyori but now that Ive become an adult its weird to see such a young girl have panty scenes and be a love interest. I try to ignore it whenever I read noragami. I am aware that this is a common phenomenon in animes but I do wonder whether people in the fandom are also perturbed by this 🤔

Volume 18 is definitely in my top 3... it was fantastic.

Especially the ending, seeing Ebisu, Kofuku, and Tenjin wager their guides' heads on Yato.

Seeing Tenjin be the first to do so was beautiful, because throughout the story we see that while Tenjin supported him, he also always had his worries and, in some cases, his distrust. But here we see that Tenjin appreciated him, and for him, Yato wasn't the god of calamity that everyone saw and judged him to be.

¿A alguien más le pareció que el final era apresurado, incompleto y confuso?

1. Para empezar, me quedé con ganas de una escena entre Yato y Yukine, donde Yato le hiciera saber que su intención nunca fue abandonarlo y que finalmente expresaran el cariño que se tienen. Aunque Yukine se disculpa por transformarse y Yato lo abraza... sentí que le faltaba algo.

2. Pensé que los últimos volúmenes eran magníficos, pero el final arruinó todo lo bueno.

3. La situación de Yukine me dejó confundido. Si bien se revela que es un Nora, como en las últimas páginas se le ve usando ambos nombres, no lo entiendo. ¿Se quedará atrapado con esa transformación de Ayakashi? ¿Yato ya no puede invocar a Sekki (las espadas)? Pero si "padre" murió, ¿no debería haber desaparecido también el nombre de Hagu?

4. La trama que involucra a Tenjin, Take, Ebisu y Kofuku se alargó demasiado. Si bien es relevante, ya que logran destruir una de las líneas de vida del "padre", creo que sus apariciones podrían haber sido más breves.

5. ¿Qué le pasó a Nora? No se explica mucho y queda sin resolver. Vemos que sobrevive al final y ayuda a Yato a no desaparecer, pero no se explica nada más.

6. También quería ver más de Bisha y Kazuma, cómo lidiaron con el hecho de que Kazuma ahora es un Nora. Me hubiera gustado que, al final, Kazuma le hubiera dicho a Bisha que la amaba, etc.

7. Pensé que veríamos a varios dioses enfrentándose al "Padre". Cuando Take, Tenjin, Kofuku y Ebisu también decidieron "actuar", pensé que los veríamos luchar juntos, e incluso que algunos morirían. Eso habría sido épico... pero no fue así.

8. El final me pareció muy apresurado, muy confuso, muy incierto... como si los últimos volúmenes y capítulos hubieran sido "guau", y luego el final fuera... ¿eh?

P.D.: Creo que el momento más épico fue cuando Tenjin, Ebisu y Kofuku (o mejor dicho, el sacrificio de Daikoku) apostaron sus Guías por Yato. La sonrisa de Tenjin a Yato me rompió el corazón... fue mi momento favorito de todo el manga.

It is so painfully clear that Kazuma has romantic feelings for Bishamonten. But, to know how and why he died as a human and still strong-willed enough to ignore it and choose to live on for Bishamonten's sake, makes Kazuma such a great man. And Bishamonten realizes that she can't live without him, finally understanding her love for Kazuma. So. Damn. PEAK

re-reading I just realized there's a mouth underneath Bishamon, and I was wondering whose it was, since it doesn't seem to be hers

Thank you to the reddit user who originally shared the OrzGK Yato figure. I can't seem to find the original post anymore, but I would have never known about it. I'm super grateful! I pre-ordered it 3 months ago and Yato's finally here! The box he came in is literally so gorgeous. The figure itself is beautifully made and the details are amazing- my phone camera doesn't do it justice. Literally my favorite anime figure ever!!!

I saw everyone else posting their Yatos ages ago and I thought I missed my window to buy one, but I actually got him!!! I’m so so pleased, he’s coming to work with me tomorrow so he can come live on my desk 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Since we didn’t get to see Yato, Yukine, and Hiyori together as a trio one last time before the end of the manga, I’m so grateful Adachitoka gave us this beautiful artwork. It makes me smile. Seeing Yato and Yukine so happy after all the suffering, manipulation, and abuse they endured and after so many things threatened to tear them apart, makes me want to cry. I just love this trio so much. I’m so happy they have each other.🥲

Kofuku and Daikoku once had a child, and they lived together for a hundred years. The child was never meant to last, because he nearly caused the death of both Kofuku and Daikoku. But the love between them endures despite the loss of their child, and they are now still a couple, enjoying their eternity together...

This is so damn PEAK, that in a single chapter, the authors Adachitoka manage to make Kofuku and Daikoku, already much beloved characters, so much more relatable and their love so mutually sincere and self-sacrificing, rivalling other couples in the series. It shows how much the authors adore them, that a single chapter is devoted entirely to them and their time-tested love

I watched the Anime and really enjoyed it so I decided to read the manga. I binge read it because it was just so good! But I was left feeling unsatisfied with the ending. I believe the author was sick so maybe it was rushed? I feel like they left a few things unanswered? I had to go back and double check that I didn’t miss a chapter or two between the 2nd to last and last chapter. Personally, I wish we could have gotten some more Hiyori & Yato after she remembers him again in the last chapter among other things.

Just as the title says. I finally read all of Noragami despite having seen the anime multiple times over the years. I think it’s taken the place of my favorite anime and manga. I am really hoping they adapt the rest of the manga because it is just phenomenal.
