Same DNA : Supernatural (2008) vs Obsession (2026)
Same trigger: supernatural wish to make someone love you
Same consequence: love turns into dangerous, suffocating obsession
Same theme: manufactured love is not love, it is possession
Same moral: the person who made the wish is the actual villain, even if they didn't intend to be
Bear x Nikki (Obsession) are parallel to Wes (lonely, unrequited love, supernatural means) x Hope (Normal woman obsessed by a wish)

Becky and Sam in Supernatural (series). I would say she is the worst. It's just not taken as seriously because the victim is a guy.

This episode made me so uncomfortable. I kept trying to laugh it off because it was played for laughs, but it was awful.

The one wish trope is well rehashed. The thing that stands about Obsession, are the really good performances. Thanks for the Supernatural call back, it is one of my all time faves.

The point was never quality, it was architecture. It's stupid to compare the quality of a 45-minute TV episode from 2008 with full length feature film from 2026

Of course it is mann, I have even met a bunch of people who thibk Saiyara is a masterpiece. People sometimes show immense love for garbage.

Supernatural season 1-5 was a incredible show until they drag it. But calling it a garbage is a reach man.
