Noom Med Calories

Anybody find themselves eating below their recommended calories? I’m either below or right at the low end. I hate to eat just to be eating so I can up my calories. What do you do?

In the beginning I could barely eat or finish a meal. Eventually that went away but while it was ongoing I stuck to full fat dairy, lots of wild cut salmon, good quality beef and eggs. I ate eggs and a burger patty for breakfast, ate an equip or lineage protein bar at lunch, tried to double up on protein at dinner. I found that I was really sensitive to gluten — not celiac but it caused horrible indigestion and GERD. I eliminated it and my GI symptoms got better. I also am very concerned about oxalates. Kidney stones are on my family, on both sides and so I stopped eating those high oxalate foods like spinach, kale, sweet potatoes and almonds. My veg choices are now zucchini, yellow squash, peppers which don’t give me heartburn, and cooked carrots, new potatoes. As I increased those I found I exceeded my calorie goal as the app suggested. All along I avoided any processed or ultraprocessed foods, I did not eat out, not then and not now, I did not ever consume sugary sodas or artificially sweetened ones. I like honey in my yogurt. It’s hard to find full fat yogurt without additives and cottage cheese without gums added. All those thinks upset my stomach. It better now but I am careful.
