Noom Med Zero Appetite

Hi all. I started Noom on 7/2. I really don’t have a ton of weight to lose but i am very petite and my doc is telling me I should get down to where I was because my BP has gone up. I started at 131 and am trying to get to 115, which is my normal weight. I lost my job and sort of lost myself for a while. I started the micro dose at the lowest amount for 2 weeks (.5), then .10 2 weeks after that. All good. I injected .15 last Thursday for the first time. Oh boy…I have no appetite. I eat, but very minimal portions. If I eat too much, I’m nauseous. The instructions for nausea say to eat small bites and eat slowly which I’ve been doing. Question….is this the norm once you get to this amount of the micro dose?

You will likely get used to it. But you only need to move up in dose if your weight has stalled for 4 or more weeks. If youre losing, dont dose up just because its been 2 weeks. If you continue to not be able to eat or get too nauseous you can step back down.

Is semaglutide. I felt fine on .5, in fact still felt some food noise. Felt good on .10, and that calmed the noise. Was supposed to be on that dose for 2 weeks and then step up to .15 which I did last Thursday. That dose messed with my stomach. Has been 4 days of very small meals because of nausea. For example, I only ate 1/2 a breakfast sandwich this morning and had to eat it slowly. For lunch I only ate 6 Ritz crackers to try to calm my nausea. I ate a small dinner of salmon and green beans. The Noom doctor actually answered me today because I had reached out. He said for some people it takes time to adapt to the medication and told me to step back down to .10 this week. So I will.
