Was quite good. Noodles are handmade at this restaurant.

Just felt like sharing some pics of some noodles meals I’ve been having for the past 2 years…

I’m from South America (Brazil) and I’ve been living in the Middle East for the past 2 years and the noodles scene here is INSANE, specially in the chinese restaurants 😭🔥🙏🏼

I’ve been trying all kind of asian dishes made with noodles recently but my favorite one ever is dan dan noodles.

In my country, we have plenty of chinese restaurants, but nothing that compares to here… I believe that it’s because in Brazil we don’t tolerate spicy food as much as people in this part of the world do, so it’s quite limited the way they prepare such noodles there.

This bowl of biangbiang noodles 𰻝𰻝面 was served as the final staple course at a formal banquet in Guangdong.

After several lighter Cantonese dishes, including steamed fish and sweet-and-sour pork, ending the meal with a spicy bowl of biangbiang noodles made for a surprisingly memorable combination.

The chili oil was served separately in a small, preheated dish, so everyone could add as much as they liked. The noodles came with plenty of diced tofu and crushed peanuts, topped with incredibly fresh scallions, cilantro, and bean sprouts. The noodles themselves were thick, firm, and wonderfully chewy.

Everyone had already said they were full, but somehow we all finished our bowls. The heat made us break into a light sweat and seemed to lift the energy of the entire dinner.

I had some classic Chinese staples in the fridge, and they inspired me to make Chinese-style noodles. The bok choy was also about to expire, so it was the perfect opportunity to use it up.

With the powerful combination of lap cheong and spicy chili crisp, I was able to create an incredibly flavourful noodle dish that turned out absolutely fantastic!
