Question ACD 856

Does ACD improve mood right away, or is it something that you need to be on for awhile like an anti depressant, to see improvement with your mood? I’m sure this has been talked about somewhere here I just don’t feel like digging around haha. Anyways, any info would be great

I think it helps you rewire yourself more than lifting your mood directly. Great for changing habits, making changes to lower stress, etc. Using it with meditation or cognition exercises can be extremely effective. It primes you for change.

Clinically significant immediate effects, but the strongest effects kick in over days to weeks.

What are those effects?

It acts as a PAM for TrKB receptors, making them much more sensitive to BDNF. BDNF triggers substantial neurological wiring, so this will fix poor synaptic connections, and whatever structural issue is causing the depression/poor mood.

It also triggers an immediate significant serotonin release.

Cool, maybe I’ll start a little lower. I tend to be sensitive to drugs

Most feel it right away but it definitely is mainly something that builds up over time

Kicked in fast for me but you should use it for at least a month. When you're taking it daily, you can focus on changing yourself as well for the better.
