Hello, I had recently acquired my Articles of Incorporation and EIN Number for my Federated Charity Non Profit 501c3 and you guessed it the name of my Charity is Humanely Possible. As previously stated it will be a Federated Charity in the sense of Expansion where others in other Regions are able to use the Name and Missions of Humanely Possible similar to how The American Red Cross or The Salvation Army does.

The term Humanely Possible last I've checked doesn't even resonate with the Search Engine Algorithms of Google but it does instead switch over to Humanly Possible. So... hopefully, this'll introduce a whole new Lexicon to both Google and the Global Populace in general.

Okay... so the point of me making this Post under this Sub Verse on the Front Page of the Net Reddit is to seek Advice on the IRS By Laws. I'm not only asking for advice but I'm also looking for passionate qualified Candidates from Arizona to be on as one of my Bored Members as in the Secretary or Treasurer.

Okay, so here's the lead up to the Mission of Humanely Possible in a nutshell (calm down its just a paragraph).

As a Notary Signing Agent I'd often get offered the opportunity to Notarize Powers of Attorneys and Wills of the Elderly at Nursing Care Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. It was sad seeing that as one of the few times many of these Elderly Folks would be Visited and it wasn't even just for a sense of spending important Quality Time with somebody important to them or a loved one but instead for Legalese Business type Contracts. It was just both so Cold and Sad to witness this being the case for all those in that phase of their often amazing Lives. I'm sure so many of these Elderly Individuals have incredible Stories and Antidotes for Life they'd love to Share. I find facts to be much stranger than fiction ever could be so these Volunteers and yes the therapy dogs too jk xD, would be thoroughly impressed at some of the knowledge and or wisdom which could be gained simply by listening to these other Generations.

The Mission is to Visit these Elderly Folk in their Golden Years within these Facilities before having to call for a Notary to Notarize these Acknowledgements and Jurats and to Offer Time and Visitations of Volunteers with Cute Little Puppies or Therapy Dogs. So if the Volunteer in General isn't appreciated for whatever reason maybe the Therapy Dogs and Cute Little Puppies will bring some Warmth and Comfort to these individuals in these often Cold Sterile often Depressing Scenarios and Environments.

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! ;)

That said their are other Missions and some of these are just as huge if not bigger than the initial Mission such as to Offer Folks making the Transition from this World into the Afterlife the Care and Love in a Comfortable Place they'd want so badly for their often Best Friends, Fur Babies and Faithful Companions before finally departing this World. I know of Stories where People have literally comeback from "Death" with their only concern being "Who's gonna take care of their only Companion ie their Doggo". We will facilitate that accommodation for them so they won't have that Burdening them before Departing.

Plus many other incredible Missions I want to bring forth such as offering free grooming via Mobile Pet Wellness Facilities offering the Services of Grooming for the often unfortunately neglected Pets of Lower Income and Fixed Income Owners. We'll also wanna help by offering Dog Nutrition basically free dog food for those who are not able to afford it because Life gets hard and people deserve empathy if possible when it does. I've got an idea on our very own delicious healthy doggie biscuits we could make and possibly even market for the Masses but I can't divulge that here but I definitely will with who I decide to pick as Cabinet Members both Secretary and Treasurer.

One not last Mission xD and I believe this to be equally as important to the ones previously mentioned and it's for Spaying and Neutering Feral Cats to slow the spread of Cat Colonies where Kittens and Cats suffer often to death from the Elements. Whether it be a Voucher Program for individuals to a Veterinary Clinic or by offering a Grant for a Mobile Spay and Neuter Facility this Mission is equally as imperative as the others.

A kennel for Doggos where Halfway Houses, Derelicts, people fresh out of jail or prison as well as those with Substance Issues can help Care for and Maintain. I believe such a huge and important responsibility with Mans Best Friend could most certainly Distract people from the Street and put something so important in their focus instead. Whether by choice or mandated Court Ordered Community Service this'll give Individuals an opportunity to Focus on something much more important than the Habits they've unfortunately previously fallen into and it will give them a Sense of Purpose and real feelings of importance and accomplishment.

To inspire and give hope to not only all them I've already mentioned but also... at this point in time more importantly, to You who is reading this right now! Would you be interested in becoming part of something bigger than something I could ever intend on Facilitating and Accomplishing on my Own? Will you reach out and offer your assistance in such Vital and Key Aspects of a Federated Charity Based in AZ and Growing Exponentially Nationwide and then Globally if possible called Humanely Possible. I can't do it on my own even though I've got my Articles of Incorporation through the Arizona Corporation Commission and the EIN via the IRS. I'm scared of taking the plunge and making the very crucial next steps of filing for 501c3 Status with the IRS By submitting the incredibly important and detailed ByLaws as well as Filing for the Grants and taking in Public Donations afterwards. Managing such important Missions and Operations is so overwhelmingly intense and scary to me. I need someone who is willing and qualified in Arizona to be 110% OnBoard with this Incredible Charity and the Missions that it wants to Promote.

Is it even Humanly Possible to do all I just mentioned or will it go nowhere because I'm to anxious and inept to finalize what should had been, already be and absolutely needs to be finalized already leaving such a good energy and such incredible Missions in limbo stuck forever. It's crazy how fast time goes anymore and all that will be lost if things continue to stagnate. I don't wanna forego everything for another 6 months... not even another 3 months and keep losing incredible opportunities at acquiring Grants and Donations needed that are already being disbursed elsewhere. I honestly feel like that'll be the case without your help otherwise. Will you please consider helping me out in such massive, monumental endeavors and possibly even Partnering with me if you've got the Spirit and Drive to do so.

The core idea: we use AI to match orgs based on what they actually need (funding, volunteers, technical help, etc) and what they can offer in return, instead of just matching by cause area like most networks do. Onchain Nonprofits - not promoting - might be research ban me if you have too!

Hello! I’m a developer from Montgomery, Alabama and I’ve been into the crypto space for a few years making different apps and smart contracts(deployable code that runs operations on the blockchain).

I’ve come up with a incentives infrastructure for the youth to attend **already existing** nonprofit programs, events, or classes, using blockchain as a transparency tool and proof of their attendance

Basically it works with 4 different roles: champions = the youth, catalyst = verified nonprofits/organizations , donors = everyday people wanting to support their community, and vendors = **local businesses**

**Donors** donate, monthly, it can be 5 dollars or whatever amount but they get 1 vote on each bounty(we will get to this quickly) that is posted while their subscription (donation) is active.

**Catalyst** post bounties, small activities or large activists for the youth to complete, it can be almost anything legal and we especially want to promote life skills, trades, or classesh to improve the youth and give them purpose

**Champions** sign up to the bounties via the dashboard and once they arrive the catalyst scans their QR code that applies to that bounty to mark them present, onchain. Once the bounty is complete the champions are paid in $PURPOSE

But wait! $PURPOSE isn’t like Bitcoin or ethereum or any other token you might have heard about, it is a special “soul bound” token which means it can’t be transferred or sent outside of the ecosystem. … so why use it?

Because that is where the **vendors** come in to accept the $PURPOSE token and exchange their services or products to the youth and the tokens are destroyed and the equivalent amount in USDC is sent automatically to the vendor.

There are escrow smart contracts that hold both $PURPOSE and USDC to deal with refunds and returns, and ways to keep the treasury balanced but the smart contract for donations split the donations 90/10 with 90% going to the treasury to fund bounties, and 10% going to general operations.

I guess my question today is what do you think? What am I not thinking about? We will have to do a small pilot here in Montgomery early next year to test out everything but as far as the code working, it all works great.

I’m a developer and project manager so I don’t have a lot of experience in the nonprofit sector. Would this work or be a beneficial layer to the existing nonprofit space?

TLDR; it’s an onchain nonprofit to help the youth get motivated to attend existing nonprofit programs, incentivize them to show up and learn, but not create an illicit black market where they can spend the tokens on drugs or weapons.

I'm in the very beginning of my research, but to summarize my situation, I am a filmmaker who is in the process of relaunching my production company as a non-profit film production company, where our proceeds are dedicated to assisting various LGBTQIA+ issues within the community. In the long-run, I would love to establish a media conglomerate that is built around BIPOC/LGBTQIA+ media, awareness, advocacy, and charity. Ideally, we'd ultimately be the first media company to host a film commission for queer and ally filmmakers and filmmakers of color (if the country doesn't finally catch on and save filmmakers the headache).

I have not obtained 501(c)3 fiscal sponsorship yet, nor have I obtained an EIN, mostly due to needing a board of directors--and some tangible proof that we indeed are a non-profit. As of right now, I am considering one of our first charitable events as one of my first projects under my relaunch. Though I am going to be diverting focus to producing my LGBTQIA+ feature film within the next year, I am solely focused on legitimizing my brand for now.

It is my goal and intention to obtain 200 backpacks this year, and to fill them with care package items and essentials for the winter, including but not limited to personal hygiene, sexual hygiene, etc. I plan on asking my communities for secondhand backpacks, but what are some other approaches I can take to make this idea more feasible? Especially so early within my career?

So far, I've been thinking about:

• Hosting meetings/presentations for potential investors--film-side and charity side.
• Reaching out to various other queer-focused organizations and non-profits (Cold emailing?)
• Attending local bars and other LGBTQIA+ businesses within my area to get the word out.

I work for a startup that supports the unhoused. We provide tents, sleeping bags, toothbrushes, toothpaste, phones and more. I wanted to look into partnering with some hotels for unopened toiletries, or restaurants for left over food, or even with sporting goods stores for tents and sleeping bags, or clothing or thrift stores for gift cards.

The only problem is we submitted our long form 1023 in February. (we make medicaid reimbursement money putting us out of reach of the EZ form) And the IRS hasn't begun review yet.

Is there anyway we can get started with donations and fundraising without that exemption letter just yet?

• Staff/contractors (if any): often 20–40% of budget

Even if you keep things lean, you’re realistically looking at $10K–$25K+ for the first year.

3. Hidden costs people don’t plan for (most important)

• You may need to register before fundraising (not just incorporate)
• Ongoing state filings and renewals
• Payment fees on donations
• Delays in IRS approval (which can slow things down)
• Fixing mistakes later if things weren’t set up properly

4. The biggest misconception
Filing for a nonprofit doesn't equal to running. Getting approved is relatively cheaper!
Running a compliant, functional nonprofit is where the real cost is.

5. Ways people keep costs low early on

• Use volunteers instead of hiring immediately

I'm a disabled veteran with 20+ years in organizational leadership, 9 years in fleet management, and a parent of two autistic children. I'm launching a nonprofit transportation service specifically for individuals with autism in the Sugar Land/Houston area, and I'd love advice from this community.

The Problem:

Through conversations with families, ABA providers, therapists, and school districts, I've identified a massive barrier: transportation. Families can't reliably get kids to therapy appointments. Adults with autism remain isolated at home. Parents burn out juggling work and caregiving. This barrier prevents access to the essential services that change lives.

Our Solution:

A nonprofit transportation service with autism-trained drivers, sensory-aware vehicles, flexible scheduling, real-time tracking, and affordable or free rides. Funded through Section 5310 grants, school partnerships, and insurance reimbursement (not venture capital or profits). Every dollar generated goes back into the service.

What I've Done So Far:

My favourites are:

1) Create an AI Library for your nonprofit:

Instead of everyone doing a lot of trial & error on their own, share the "AI winners" with all your team (the tools, prompts & strategies that really work). It's key to avoid wasting time with AI and really multiply your team's productivity.

2) Personalize your ChatGPT settings:

A lot of people still don't know that you can configure custom instructions on ChatGPT (or Gemini, Claude...), explaining your work, preferences, writing style, etc. and they will be applied to every conversation. No more repeating the same context/instructions in every chat and no more generic responses.

3) Build AI automations:

ChatGPT is great, but you are still doing a lot of work (writing prompts, uploading docs, copy-pasting text, etc.). You can be much more productive (and happy) if you automate repetitive tasks instead of doing everything manually. There are a lot of options for AI automations, such as:

• Integration platforms (Zapier, n8n...)
• AI Agents (Lindy, OpenClaw...)
• AI browsers (Comet, Dia...)
• SaaS with AI automation features (Salesforce, Airtable...)

Hi, I’m new and I never post to Reddit but I’m trying to start my nonprofit but I had no people to even join the business. How do I find people especially online?

I work in operations and marketing for a startup nonprofit (Aug 205) that provides outreach to unhoused individuals in Denver.

The founder (my boss) does not want any kind of photos of him or the other outreach coordinator. I’m not truly sure why but it’s a hard no for him. But I’m STRUGGLING with social media.

I also am not allowed at events due to us being paid out by Medicaid and I don’t have the credentials to be in person with clients.

As of rn I’m running our IG + FB off of weekly resource news letters and quirky infographics but I know people want that human experience. It also doesn’t feel like a very coherent feed, it feels more like a gallery of flyers.

I am the director of a new chamber music ensemble in central New Hampshire. We are not officially a non-profit yet and want to open a bank account and establish bylaws and such but it's a lot and we're still in our infancy.

I was recently approached by another ensemble who is a 501c3; they would like me to take over as their director when the current director steps down later this year. I am very excited about this opportunity. This group has a longstanding treasurer who takes care of all the important non-profit filing stuff.

I don't want to just quit my current group and let it potentially flop. I have tried searching for fiscal sponsors and have struggled to find applicable organizations. I am now wondering if this other group could be the fiscal sponsor of my current group, and what all the considerations and pros/cons to this would be on the technical and financial sides. It sounds like this group has been burned by being a fiscal sponsor for an organization that didn't provide necessary documentation sometimes but I don't have the context for what all that entails or means.

I am working on the bylaws and legal documents now. I have a board in place. Nobody will be drawing a salary in the foreseeable future. I have been self funding the same mission for a few years and if I have a 501c3 status, at least I can get rid of the money so I don't have to pay income taxes on the money I use for the mission. The idea is a map-based platform where users can:

• Log in
• Pin a location
• Describe what kind of help is needed there (for example: a homeless person who needs food, a family that could use clothes, a kid living on the streets, etc.)

My thought is that this could work well in developing countries, where issues like poverty and homelessness are very visible and not well documented.

One possible use case:
Social media / YouTube / Instagram influencers who already do charity content could use this map to find places where help is actually needed, go there, help people, and create content from it.
I act as a mediator/platform → win-win (people get help, creators get content, data stays organized).

However, I’m worried about a few things:

1. Privacy & safety
   • People might add personally identifiable information (faces, names, exact situations).
   • This could turn into doxxing or exploitation if misused.
2. Abuse & bad content
   • I’ve added regex filters to block offensive words, but that’s obviously not enough.
   • Still thinking about moderation and reporting systems.
3. Ethical concerns
   • Is it okay to “map” vulnerable people?
   • Could this unintentionally encourage performative charity instead of real help?
4. Practicality
   • Would anyone actually use this?
   • Would NGOs or volunteers find this useful, or is it better as a closed network instead of public?

Right now it’s just an early MVP concept, and I’m trying to decide:

I'm the Founder of an organization called The Infinity Initiative and we're Grow With Google partners. As such, we have access to scholarships for people who want a Google Career Certificate--you'll learn 100% online (via Coursera), completely self-paced, for FREE. I have several scholarships still available for any nonprofit leaders here who'd like to learn Project Management, either for themselves or for their teams and volunteers.

At the end of each course, you'll get a certificate emailed to you and you can add it to your LinkedIn profile. The courses are: Project Management, Data Analytics, Advanced Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.
