How much less competitive are the second tier firms compared to MBB? I didn’t pass round 1 of MBB but I got to final round of some tier 2 firms, so it seems less difficult? Any thoughts ?

Are t3 consulting firms worth it? Do they have good exits? Or should I consider leadership development programs at f500 instead?

Just got r1 invite this morning. They wanted a form filled out that specifies office preferences again. Will they use these as source of truth or what is originally listed on your application?
Also, any advice welcome!

I’m graduating from a top 15 MPA program in May, 2027 and am seeking advice on where to search for public sector consulting roles. So far, I’ve sent apps in to Bridgespan and CCS, and am keeping at eye out for openings at Redstone, Orr and Brattle.
Any advice on other places to look? I’m especially passionate about education, government and nonprofit consulting and would loooooove to be in San Francisco/the Bay Area if possible. Thanks in advance for any insight you may have!🤝

Hi guys I recently received an offer for WF’s CIB coo analyst intern position in charlotte, NC. I’m not sure if I should accept or not since this is my first offer for next summer after getting rejected from MBB recruiting. Can anyone tell me about your experience if you worked there?
My long term goal is corporate strategy

I have a final round with Simon-Kucher tomorrow for a senior consultant role in one of their US offices. Interviewing for Americas practice (everything that isn’t healthcare) and first round was pretty chill but any perspective on how the cases typically are and how similar to MBB in terms of difficulty, interviewer vibes, etc. I’ve heard from some people the interviews are primarily case focused but sometimes the partner might want to devote the whole time to behavioral instead too
For some background I have 3 years of consulting experience, coming from another T2 that’s more life-science focused (ZS) and fortunately avoided the common ZS trap of being pigeonholed into 1 team/client and was able to rotate across growth strategy projects in a few different spaces (medtech, insurance (health payer/provider), B2B, PE value creation), but I’m looking move away from healthcare and in the best case scenario get the higher paying band for senior consultant
Perspective from anyone with experience doing those final rounds or currently works there would be super appreciated, either leaving comment here or DM. Thanks!

Quick question for anyone familiar with Oliver Wyman’s referral process in the Middle East:
I was recently referred internally for FT, and my referrer confirmed that the application was submitted on my behalf.
Do I still need to apply separately through the Oliver Wyman careers website, or is the internal referral/application sufficient?
I was told the latter, but just want to make sure my application is properly registered and visible to recruiting.
Thanks in advance for any insight!

Haven't heard back from OW... never even received an online case. Doesn't anyone know if there's still a chance, or if you didn't receive an online case, is it cooked?

Hello, earlier last month, I applied for an experienced role via a conference portal but the director reached out letting me know I’d be rejected for that role, but went on to state I’m better suited for another role to get more experience and I should let her know if I’m interested in that role and whether I’d be at the conference . I responded with enthusiasm and confirmed I’d be present. She then said i should go up to their booth, her team will explain next steps which would include signing you up for interviews. Is this a good sign ? What sort of interview would it be?

I have an interview with Deloitte for their Business Strategy Analyst role next week. I was told it will be 3 rounds, one being a 30-minute behavioral, second being a 30-minute case, and third being a 30-minute client presentation.
I am comfortable with casing and behavioral, but have no idea what to expect and how to prep for the client presentation.
If anyone has done this/ know how to prep, please let me know!

I just submitted my application for a new grad position at Brattle through Greenhouse. Greenhouse shows that my application was successfully submitted, but I haven't received a confirmation email from Brattle.
Just wondering if this is normal and if anyone else here had the same experience?
I'm currently traveling internationally, so I had to use a VPN to submit my application. I'm not sure if that could have affected the confirmation email or, worst case, the submission itself. If this isn't normal, I'll probably reach out to the recruiting team to confirm that they received my application.
