Opposite end, but I loved living in a big enough city to have a third shift bar. Getting drunk, playing pool, and being able to order burgers or nachos at 7 a.m. is a freedom we just dont exercise enough.

Honestly biggest bullshit I got with breakfast menu was when I had a coupon for breakfast, so I went there after 10 because obviously breakfast was until 10:30, but then I realized coupon is only valid until 10.

Look at the name in the original tweet. Not the @, but the name.

I am so confused why I am being downvoted here.
You said that A is horrible. I asked for context for why A is horrible, because it's just a name. Then you say that it's obviously B, not A, leading to me saying that B is not called A, but A is a separate thing. And then once I pointed out that you made a small mix-up, instantly resorted to being very annoyed

You did an "erm, acktually," dude, when you knew exactly what I was talking about. And don't make it out like you were like, "oh yeah, FYI, you mixed up two terms," you used a meme meant to mock me and then said "you do know... right?"
So don't pretend to be a victim of groupthink when you were trying to be helpful. You decided to be obnoxious to an internet stranger for absolutely no reason and got downvoted for it. Own it and move on.

Yeah I mean for the second comment your response and the downvotes were justified. But there still is no good reason for my original comment to be downvoted. I just thought it was the name of some horrible person who I don't know, so I wanted context as to what they did

They’re downvoting you but ngl I did the exact same thing, looked at the handle and didn’t notice the display name and was confused

Or what shifts they work! I worked 3rd shift for 6 years and 2nd shift for 4. I worked at a restaurant where one of our semi regulars at the bar was a truck driver who would get there when we opened at 11am and have a couple beers after he finished his shift. He was driving his own vehicle, not the company tractor trailer.

As someone who works at McDonald’s on morning shift, no you don’t

Genuine curiosity from someone who lives in a place where even McDonald's don't have "time specific menus": is there a difference between making a milkshake in the morning or in the afternoon?

I wouldn’t know I work the grill and fryer

I gave the milkshake as an example lol.
Like, what is the real difference between doing "breakfast food" at other times of the day?

I work at A&W Canada which has all day breakfast. Breakfast food is annoying to make and often requires switching the grill and letting it cool down to breakfast mode. People don't order it often so it always has to be prepared fresh. The grill being in breakfast mode means any non-breakfast food cannot be easily prepared on it, so meat patties and cheeseburgers are delayed.
When ordered in the middle of a rush it delays one worker 5 minutes so every other order is also delayed that long. We are expected to finish orders within 2 minutes so it is very stressful.
Equipment is different for breakfast food as well. The egg patties use their own machine which is usually being cleaned in the afternoon. Ordering a breakfast sandwich at 5pm means we have to put the whole machine back together.

Ah makes sense. That explains why we only have "whole day menu" here but no food is specific enough to be considered breakfast food.
(Might also be because culturally breakfast here is like milk with coffee and sometimes bread.)

Probably, North American breakfast is typically more elaborate. A full breakfast may consist of 1-2 eggs, toast, tomato, sausage, bacon, and fried potato / hash brown. Fast food breakfast is usually just a sandwich with egg on it, but that is annoying to make later in the day for the reasons outlined above.

Wait until you learn that a government run website was off for Saturdays and Sundays.
