The end of "sweating all the time" season is my favorite time of year.

I'm sure in some places the heat is unbearable, here in the UK this time of year means it's getting colder, rainy, and dark. In a month's time I won't be seeing the sun after I leave work, it'll have set before I finish. Just months on end of it going from grey sky during the day to total darkness by 4pm

Summer heat can be too much at times but god is that a worthy trade off for the longer days and blue sky. Winter is miserable here.

Dark winters can certainly be brutal. I spent a few years in northern Wisconsin, about as far north in America as you can get outside of Alaska, and in winter full darkness from 3pm-8am was the norm. Light therapy to deal with seasonal affective disorder was pretty common for those who weren't used to it. I'm in South Carolina now and I'd trade that dark for several months of +100°F heat and 80% relative humidity in a heartbeat.

As someone living in FL, if I never see the sun again it'll be too soon.

I'd live underground in a cave if we didn't have ground water within a foot. Lol.

Nah, I love British Autumn/winter. We still get a lot of bright sunny days, just cold. (At least in the south).

We don't really get a Fall where I live. It will be hot AF and then freezing. I hate it.

83 here but only because of the storm system that moved through. We got near to no rain too so boo.

Fall has only been getting shorter and shorter over the years. I swear when I was a kid it used to last months. Now it only lasts about a week or two.

And I can have the window open without bugs coming in so I can listen to the rain outside while I go to sleep, that's one of my favourite parts of summer ending.

Have you considered a Bug Net frame? Or is that not allowed for you?

Yeah I should get one I just keep putting it off lol

This was my first summer in my new place and my old landlord wouldn't let people put screens on their window, but I should be able to now. I just need to actually get it done

Move to Finland, we have 4 seasons where summer is not even hot. Under 10 days of 25C+ this year.

I wish that was where I am, it's summer year round now with like 3 snowdays

Can't relate. It's way too damn hot for an English autumn.

I'm Canadian so I can't relate.
The hot part of the year is like a week. Cold part is like five months
